What is the Calgary Tower?

The Calgary Tower is located at 120 – 10th Avenue SW, and stands tall in the middle of 9th Avenue and 10th Avenue just between 1st Street SW and Macleod Trail SE. Parking at the Calgary Tower is easy to find by using the Palliser Parkade.

Palliser One

When you visit the Calgary Tower, parking is easy to find at the Calgary Tower Parkade. The Calgary Tower Parkade is located at 140-10th Avenue SW.

This parkade consists of 1,398 above ground, covered parking stalls. Impark provides the parking management of the Palliser Parkade, and the Impark office is conveniently close. You can find the Impark office in the Calgary Tower Annex at 112-10th Avenue SE, and it is open from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Parkade Security

The Calgary Tower Parkade has 24 hours per day security teams who patrol the parkade as well as all access points such as elevator lobbies and stairwell access areas. Security desks are located in the main entrance lobbies of Palliser One and Palliser South. Personnel on site are all available to ask how to navigate to your destination.

Safe Walk Program

If you work in any of the properties mentioned above, or are just visiting the property, the Calgary Tower Security Team offers all Tenants and Visitors the Safe Walk Program. This means access to a security guard who will walk you safely from your office to your vehicle, and you can even arrange for a safe walk from your office to the Calgary Transit CTrain line on 7th Avenue.

The Calgary Tower Parkade is connected to Calgary's unique Plus 15 and Plus 30 networks.

Calgary's +15 Skywalk is a public pedestrian walkway system that links buildings throughout Downtown and provides alternative routes for pedestrians to numerous and varied destinations.

Public access through private buildings enables pedestrians to travel in weather-protected walkways. At approximately 15 feet above the street level, you can stay warm and walk to your destination. The +15 concept was intended to improve Downtown, providing additional pedestrian space and facilities, and with no expense to the taxpayer.

How do I enter the Calgary Tower Parkade?

Parking entrances are indicated with stars on the map and are located on 9 Avenue SW, 10 Avenue SW, and 10 Avenue SE. The Calgary Tower Parkade has a maximum height clearance of 6 feet 4 inches

When you arrive, just press the flashing button located on the entrance station at the parking gate. The gate arm will go up once you remove the ticket and you can then proceed into the parkade and park in any non-reserved stall.

Remember: Please take your ticket with you to pay at a Pay Station before returning to your vehicle.

How do I exit the Calgary Tower Parkade?

When you are returning to your vehicle, take your parking entry ticket to a Pay Station and follow the posted instructions.

Once you have paid for parking or used a validated parking ticket at the Pay Station, remember to remove the validated ticket and take it with you. Return to your vehicle, drive to the exit gate, and insert the validated ticket into the parking exit station at the parking gate. The gate will rise and you can exit the lot.

Validated parking tickets can be used at the exit gate for 15 minutes after payment is made at a Pay Station.
